CPR
HLTAID001 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation
Learn the skills and knowledge required to perform cardio pulmonary resuscitation (CPR) in line with Australian Resuscitation Council Guidelines. CPR can provide the means to keep a person alive long enough to receive professional medical attention. Knowing CPR – and performing it properly – can make the difference between life and death.
Senior First Aid
HLTAID003 Provide First Aid
Previously referred to as Senior First Aid or Apply First Aid, this course is now recognised as Provide First Aid. This is the most common accredited first aid course for those that require a first aid certificate for employment or other reasons.

Update your first aid or CPR certificate
We recommend all first aid practitioners check their local workplace or industry specific first aid requirements. HLTAID001 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation must be renewed every 12 months, and HLTAID003 Provide first aid must be renewed every 3 years.
Childcare First Aid
HLTAID004 Provide an Emergency First Aid Response in an Education and Care Setting
The Australian Children's Education & Care Quality Authority (ACECQA) has endorsed HLTAID004 Provide an Emergency First Aid Response in an Education and Care Setting as satisfying all educator requirements for first aid, anaphylaxis management and emergency asthma training - as outlined by National Regulations. Anyone looking to work, or currently working, in the childcare industry including schools, day care centres and educational environments will need this first aid certificate.
Advanced First Aid
HLTAID006 Provide Advanced First Aid
This course deals with the skills and knowledge required to provide an advanced first aid response, including management of the incident and other first aiders, until the arrival of medical or other assistance. It applies to workers who may be required to provide, coordinate and manage a first aid response across a range of complex situations, including community and workplace settings.
