The Australian Children's Education & Care Quality Authority (ACECQA) has endorsed HLTAID004 Provide an Emergency First Aid Response in an Education and Care Setting as satisfying all educator requirements for first aid, anaphylaxis management and emergency asthma training - as outlined by National Regulations. Anyone looking to work, or currently working, in the childcare industry including schools, day care centres and educational environments will need this first aid certificate.

Advanced First Aid
HLTAID006 Provide Advanced First Aid

This course deals with the skills and knowledge required to provide an advanced first aid response, including management of the incident and other first aiders, until the arrival of medical or other assistance. It applies to workers who may be required to provide, coordinate and manage a first aid response across a range of complex situations, including community and workplace settings.
